There are three ghost stories associated with the Moonlight Mur66ders of Texarkana. The first story takes place where Betty Jo Booker’s

body was discovered on North Park Road. Over the years there have been reports of a saxophone playing softly in the wind, especially on nights near 1:30 in the morning.

The second story takes place near the entrance to Spring Lake Park where Paul Martin’s car was located. At times, there have been sightings of a 1940s vehicle parked alongside the road that vanishes when approached. Some have even reported hearing a series of four gunshots near the area.

The final story appears to be of the Phantom Killer’s final victim, Earl McSpadden. Since 1946, the apparition of a man fitting Earl McSpadden’s description has been seen walking along the railroad tracks near where his body was discovered.
